When I was an undergraduate student, I came to Sapporo as an exchange student and met Professor Kanazawa who studies ancient Japanese literature. I’ve became greatly interested in Japanese classical literature, and enrolled in the Graduate School of Letters. Since many foreign students study here, it’s easy to build a network of other students. What’s more, Sapporo is an excellent city where urban function and the nature are well-balanced making it easy to study.
