University of London, SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), Dr. Helen Macnaughtan’s visit to the Graduate School of Letters.

On June 4th, Dr. Helen Macnaughtan from University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) visited the Graduate School of Letters. Academic collaborators Dr. Macnaughtan and Dr. Jun Imai (Division of Human Sciences, Areas of research: comparative employment theory, economics and organizations, gender) met with Dr. Michelle La Fay and the members of the International Affairs Office (IAU).  Dr. Helen Macnaughtan is from the Department of Financial and Management Studies and specifically concentrates her research on the economic history of Japan, gender, and employment issues.  The members of the meeting discussed possibilities for a future academic and student exchange between the two universities.
